If we unsubscribe, we remove our name from the list of people who receive a service.
Emails often have a notice at the bottom saying, ‘To unsubscribe from this service please click here.’
6. Motivate Oneself:
Grace says, “I try to motivate myself by visualizing the time saved and the meaningful things I can do instead.”
To motivate ourselves is to inspire ourselves to act. Give ourselves motivation to do something.
I motivated myself to lose weight by thinking ‘I want to buy new clothes and look really nice in them’. Or, ‘He motivates himself at work by imagining a big raise.’
See something in your mind. Picture it.
You often hear about visualization training for athletes and business professionals. The idea is that you can increase your chances of success and your self-confidence by visualizing yourself. By imaging yourself as a successful person as achieving your goals.
I visualized myself in the new clothes I wanted to buy.
8. Do One’s Best To:
McMillan says, “I am doing my best to learn to eat slowly.”
Make every effort to do something; do the best one can to achieve something.
Like, ‘She does her best to be on time for every meeting.’ Or, ‘He’s doing his best not to interrupt other people.’
